Iceland is on the verge of qualifying for UEFA Euro 2016.
Leading in group a Iceland has made another important step on the road to UEFA Euro 2016 in France, beating out the Netherlands thanks to precise the 11-meter shot by Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The hosts, which was first headed by Danny blind, quickly seized the initiative, but in the 31st minute received an unexpected shock – due to injury left the field captain Arjen Robben. Even worse, Bruno Martins Indi left the Dutch in the minority. All orange attempts to establish the game and to break the resistance of opponents were in vain, and penalty performed by Sigurdsson in the 51st minute brought Iceland unexpected victory.
